Vancouver Restaurateur To Be Sentenced After Pleading Guilty To Using Hidden Camera

The Canadian Press , 24 Sep, 2014 10:40 AM

VANCOUVER - The former co-owner of a now-closed Vancouver restaurant will be sentenced in December after pleading guilty to one count of secretly observing nudity in a private place.

Allan Bosomworth entered the guilty plea in provincial court on Tuesday.

Bosomworth was the co-owner of the Two Chefs And A Table restaurant, where he was accused of hiding a tiny camera in a bathroom and recording or observing people while they were naked.

He was charged in September 2013 after his business partner told police that he had discovered a USB-key-sized camera in the eatery's co-ed bathroom in December of the previous year.

Police have previously said one victim was identified by images recorded on a camera, but they could not identify other victims due to the poor video quality.

Bosomworth's sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 10. (Global)
