Vancouver Police Seek Witnesses Who Helped Man On Day Of Mysterious Head Injury

The Canadian Press, 11 Jun, 2015 12:35 PM
Vancouver Police are looking for a number of people who they believe could solve the mystery of how a man ended up with a deadly head injury.

Officers say the man went for a two-hour walk at Kitsilano Beach on the evening of May 30 and later told his wife that he was in a confrontation, but couldn't provide any details.

The 58-year-old was found unresponsive the next day and died after having two surgeries for a life-threatening brain bleed.

Investigators have since found some witnesses and video of the man, but are now looking for specific people who are not suspects but might have important details.

Police say they're seeking two women who are believed to have helped the man off the road, and two other women who appear to have let him into his building on the night of his walk.

They would also like to speak with a group of men and women in their early 20s who were flying a drone on the beach and in the parking lot.
