Vancouver Police Say 46-Year-Old Man Badly Hurt In Targeted Shooting

    VANCOUVER — A man has been seriously injured in what Vancouver police say was a targeted shooting.
     
     
    Const. Jason Doucette says it happened on the edge of the city's Downtown Eastside just before 11 p.m. Wednesday.
     
     
    He says police responded to numerous reports of shots fired.
     
     
    Officers found the 46-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
     
     
    Detectives believe the attack was targeted but have not released a possible motive.
     
     
    No arrests have been made.
