VANCOUVER - Major crime detectives are investigating a suspicious death in Vancouver's West End.
Sgt. Aaron Roed says in a statement that officers responded to an incident just after 8 p.m., Tuesday.
An unnamed Vancouver man suffered life-threatening injuries.
He died a short time later in hospital.
The incident is believed to be isolated and Roed says there is no danger to the public.
No arrests have been made.
Police in nearby Brantford, Ont., issued the alert early Thursday saying the girl and her father were last seen just after midnight leaving Brantford in a vehicle with two women.
