VANCOUVER - Major crime detectives are investigating a suspicious death in Vancouver's West End.
Sgt. Aaron Roed says in a statement that officers responded to an incident just after 8 p.m., Tuesday.
An unnamed Vancouver man suffered life-threatening injuries.
He died a short time later in hospital.
The incident is believed to be isolated and Roed says there is no danger to the public.
No arrests have been made.
Others say they got official warnings on their cellphones for areas outside the city, after the tornado had already passed.
