VANCOUVER - Major crime detectives are investigating a suspicious death in Vancouver's West End.
Sgt. Aaron Roed says in a statement that officers responded to an incident just after 8 p.m., Tuesday.
An unnamed Vancouver man suffered life-threatening injuries.
He died a short time later in hospital.
The incident is believed to be isolated and Roed says there is no danger to the public.
No arrests have been made.
The blaze, which is believed to have been started by humans, broke out near Savona Wednesday, severing Highway 1 between Kamloops and Cache Creek
Police say they received several reports of a man randomly punching people near Waterfront Station on May 28.
