Vancouver Police Make Arrest During Olympic Village Drug Raid

    Just after 4 p.m. on Monday, VPD officers executed a drug-related search warrant in the area of ‎Columbia Street and 1st Avenue. One person has been arrested.
     
     
    Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services assisted at the scene as officers observed unknown substances inside the suite. Two officers went to the hospital as a precaution and were released shortly after.
     
     
    The investigation is ongoing. Officers will be at the scene today to collect evidence and will continue to use safety protocols for working around hazardous material. Residents in the surrounding area have not been evacuated.
