Vancouver Police Looking For Additional Victims Of Obscene Telephone Calls

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 01 Jul, 2016 02:08 PM
A man has been arrested for making obscene and harassing telephone calls dating back to 2012.

Between 2012 and 2015, a number of harassing and obscene telephone calls were made to health practitioners and counselors throughout the Lower Mainland, and possibly on Vancouver Island. The calls were persistent and committed for a sexual purpose.

Fifty-four-year-old Larry Auton has now been charged with 14 counts of criminal harassment in relation to those calls. Investigators believe that there are more victims who have not yet spoken to police.

Anyone who may have been a victim of these sexually motivated calls is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department at 604-717-0601.
