Vancouver Police Investigate Downtown Eastside Shooting

    Vancouver Police are investigating a Downtown Eastside shooting that sent one man to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
     
    Around 6:30 pm, police responded to Columbia and East Pender Street following reports of a shooting. When police arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
     
    Approximately one hour later, two suspects believed to be involved in the shooting were arrested on West 12th Avenue near Discovery Street. They remain in custody.
     
    All three individuals are known to police. The shooting does appear targeted.
     
    The investigation is ongoing and further information will be shared when it becomes available.
