VPD informed reporters that they are treating the death as "possibly being suspicious in nature."

A park caretaker discovered the woman in a medical distress around 6 a.m. and called 911. Though paramedics arrived at the scene, they were not able to revive the woman.

Meanwhile, VPD spokesman Brian Montague spoke to media and stated that it is not clear whether the victim, identified as an Asian woman, was attacked or dumped in the park.
