Vancouver police believe Molotov-cocktail attacks linked to gang conflict

Darpan News Desk Darpan, 10 Sep, 2014 05:54 PM
Police are investigating a series of Molotov cocktail attacks they believe are related to a gang conflict in Vancouver.

Officers say a fire was sparked in the living room of an east Vancouver home in the early hours of Sept. 2.

Police say another blaze was set on the morning of Sept. 4 in the detached garage of a house in the same neighbourhood.

Officers say a third fire was started in the same area early Tuesday at the rear of a home, causing minor damage to a garage.

Police say they believe the resident of the last house was not the intended target.

Officers say in all cases, the suspects left the scene on motorcycles and police are calling the attacks targeted arsons.
