Vancouver Police Arrest Suspect Following Friday Night Death Of Teenager

    Vancouver police say they've charged an 18-year-old man in the death of another teenager following a Friday night assault.

     

    Police say the suspect was arrested in downtown Vancouver early Sunday.


    He has been charged with manslaughter and remains in custody.


    On Friday night, police say 19-year-old Vancouver resident Dakota Saje Wildeman-McNeil was assaulted with a weapon.


    They say he was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.


    This is Vancouver's third homicide of 2019.
