Vancouver Police Arrest High-risk Sex Offender Who Walked Away From Halfway House

    Dale Rolland Alexander, a high-risk sex offender who failed to return to his halfway house, is back in custody after being arrested by Vancouver Police.


    VPD began searching for Alexander Thursday afternoon, after a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued.


    Patrol officers, with assistance of a police dog, located Alexander hiding in a wooded area of Stanley Park shortly after 8 p.m. last night.
