The Canadian Press, 25 Dec, 2015 02:41 PM
VANCOUVER — Two men who allegedly broke into a car and made off with wrapped Christmas presents will spend their holiday in a Vancouver jail.

Police say they received a call around 6 p.m. Christmas Eve about men breaking into a car in a downtown parking lot.

The men took off on foot, and but witnesses provided a description of the pair.

Police say they found the "grinches" in a building nearby a short time later.

They also found the stolen loot, about $1,000 worth of wrapped Christmas presents.

A 32-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were both arrested and both are known to police.
