Darpan News Desk Vancouver Police, 14 Nov, 2020 12:23 AM
  • Vancouver police arrest allege drugstore robbers

A woman was doing some late-night shopping at W. Broadway drugstore. She selected several bottles of cosmetic products and put them in her basket.

A staff member offered to hold her items at the checkout, but the woman insisted she had more shopping to do. A man, who had been waiting outside for the woman, entered the store. He allegedly pulled out a weapon and threatened the employee, who backed away. The couple then fled the store with more than $1,500 worth of product.

Officers located the suspects nearby. Charges of robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon, and possession of stolen property have been recommended. The stolen product was returned to the store.
