Vancouver Police are looking for witnesses to a Downtown Eastside stabbing last month that has resulted in the death of one man.

At 4:20 p.m. on March 20th, police interrupted an assault at Main and Hastings Street. One man involved in the fight suffered a life-threatening stab wound. Ryan Hardy, a thirty-eight-year-old Vancouver man, was rushed to hospital by paramedics, where he died a short time later.

He was wearing distinctive blue shorts, with a horizontal red stripe and a dark jacket.

    No arrests have been made.

Police believe that several drivers, and pedestrians, had to avoid the altercation in the street. Investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen that altercation.
