B-C's Vancity credit union says Christine Bergeron is stepping down as president and C-E-O to take the top job at real estate company Concert Properties.
The credit union says Bergeron will continue with Vancity until mid-July.
Bergeron joined Vancity in 2011 and has been chief executive since 2020.
Concert Properties says she will join the company as president and chief executive on September 5th.
Nurses union president Aman Grewal says the change will not only help a strained and understaffed health-care system retain nurses, but will also improve patient outcomes. The 48,000 members of the B.C. Nurses' Union will start to vote on the new agreement on April 20.
Of the six newly proposed electoral districts, the commission says four should be located in Burnaby, Langley, Surrey and Vancouver. During the robbery, the suspects presented a firearm demanding money from the victim before stealing and leaving in the victim’s vehicle. Amar, a 40 year-old father of three, was fatally injured on August 31, 2022 during a physical altercation between two neighbours, leading to the arrest of one person.
