  • UPDATE: Richmond RCMP are asking the public's assistance in locating a missing South Asian 16 year old.

UPDATE: The 16 year old reported missing has been located safe and sound. Richmond RCMP thank the public and the media for their assistance. 

Richmond RCMP are asking the public's assistance in locating a missing South Asian 16 year old.

Arjun Punn was last seen around 3:30 p.m. on Jun 9th, 2020 after boarding a bus near the 9000 block of Seaton Place in Richmond. He was apparently enroute to the Richmond Centre Shopping Mall

Punn is described as: South Asian male 16-years of age male 183 cm (5’11) tall medium build short black hair possibly wearing a black North Face vest, black hoodie, and black Nike Jogging pants.

The police and Arjun’s family are concerned about his safety and well-being. We would ask that anyone with information as to his whereabouts to immediately contact their local police.

COVID-19 has now spread to every region in Canada, with Nunavut reporting its first case on Thursday, as Ontario reported its largest one-day climb in fatalities and the country's budget officer predicted a staggering $252-billion deficit. The case in northern Nunavut was identified in the 1,600-strong largely Inuit community of Pond Inlet on Baffin Island. The territory's chief public health officer, Dr. Michael Patterson, said a rapid response team was on its way to the community to help manage the situation.
