UPDATE: Richmond RCMP are asking the public's assistance in locating a missing South Asian 16 year old.

  • UPDATE: Richmond RCMP are asking the public's assistance in locating a missing South Asian 16 year old.

UPDATE: The 16 year old reported missing has been located safe and sound. Richmond RCMP thank the public and the media for their assistance. 

Richmond RCMP are asking the public's assistance in locating a missing South Asian 16 year old.

Arjun Punn was last seen around 3:30 p.m. on Jun 9th, 2020 after boarding a bus near the 9000 block of Seaton Place in Richmond. He was apparently enroute to the Richmond Centre Shopping Mall

Punn is described as: South Asian male 16-years of age male 183 cm (5’11) tall medium build short black hair possibly wearing a black North Face vest, black hoodie, and black Nike Jogging pants.

The police and Arjun’s family are concerned about his safety and well-being. We would ask that anyone with information as to his whereabouts to immediately contact their local police.

Canada is on track to complete its millionth test for COVID-19 sometime in the next 24 hours even as the country's biggest province continues to struggle to hit its own testing target. Dr. Theresa Tam, the chief public health officer of Canada, reported that as of Wednesday morning, more than 970,000 tests had been completed nationwide since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada.

Ceremony to be held today for service members who died in helicopter crash
The Canadian military is to hold a special ramp ceremony today at Canadian Forces Base Trenton to repatriate remains of a service member and honour all six who died in a helicopter crash off the coast of Greece. The Cyclone helicopter carrying six Armed Forces members crashed into the Ionian Sea on April 29.
