UBC student dies after cliff fall at Stanley Park

    An Abbotsford man, 22, was found dead following a tragic fall at Prospect Point in Stanley Park on Saturday. 
     
    Mai David Huy Huynh was roaming around the park with friends at Prospect Park - a lookout site at the highest point of the park - when shortly later the group of friends noticed that Huynh was missing. 
     
    His body was discovered at around 6 p.m. at the seawall, 70 metres below.
     
    Authorities have not released any information detailing how Huynh fell, which is believed to be an accident. 
     
    Huynh was a commerce student at the UBC's Sauder School of Business.
