Two Vancouver Island Men Stabbed, One Badly Beaten But Not Talking To Cops

The Canadian Press, 23 Sep, 2015 11:05 AM
SOOKE, B.C. — RCMP in Sooke, B.C., say three men who were injured during a fight involving knives are refusing to co-operate with investigators.

Police say the altercation was over by the time officers responded to a complaint on a local street on Monday night.

Staff Sgt. Jeff McArthur says the men were tracked down at their homes and that one of the two who'd been stabbed was transported to hospital by ambulance.

A third man appeared to have been badly beaten but refused medical treatment.

None of the men — aged 19, 25 and 29 — sustained life-threatening injuries, and McArthur says charges will be pursued if appropriate.

He says the men know each other well and are also well known to police.
