Two 17-year-olds have died in a crash 13 kilometres east of Quesnel.
A statement from Quesnel R-C-M-P say the youths -- a male and female --died early Sunday morning.
Their vehicle veered off the Barkerville Highway and hit a tree.
Police haven't released the names of the teens or said who was driving, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.

Witnesses told police, the suspect was seen approaching the victim wearing a mask and carrying a baseball bat. The suspect then allegedly hit the victim with the bat and kicked him before fleeing on foot with a group of 4-5 youths.
