  • Two teens charged in Prince George drug bust

Two teenagers are facing charges after a drug bust in Prince George.

Mounties say officers seized a firearm as well as 1.5 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine from a home while executing a search warrant last Friday.

They say a 14-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested, but have been released to the Ministry of Children and Family Development as they await their court dates.

Police say they have noticed a trend of organized crime groups recruiting youth to commit offenses on their behalf, and encourages anyone who knows of this happening to contact police.
