Surrey witnessed the return of shooting incidents this weekend as one person was sent to hospital after drive-by shooting at 75A Avenue and Scott Road
Police are investigating the incident that happened Saturday evening.
The car was riddled with bullet holes, and one person was taken to hospital. His condition is unknown.
This marks 39 shootings this year, and is the second shooting in less than 24 hours.

RCMP Mounties say someone opened fired on a home in the 1700-block of King George Boulevard around 3:30 a.m.
Neighbours say they flew out of bed when they heard the gunshots, which sounded “like explosions.”
Just hours earlier a brawl broke out at the same house party.
Neighbours say a car was being driven erratically, smashing repeatedly into a gate.
Several hours later, someone returned to the home, spraying it with bullets.
Surrey RCMP say many residents were inside, and describe the incident as “isolated but targeted.”
An investigation is ongoing, and no one has been arrested.

Both the shootings came on the same day the RCMP were busy talking to residents about policing at an open house in Surrey.
