Two Homes In Bella Coola, B.C., Among Property Damaged By Deliberately Set Fires

The Canadian Press, 11 Sep, 2018 06:36 PM
BELLA COOLA, B.C. — RCMP on British Columbia's central coast hope someone has information that could help them crack an arson investigation.

Bella Coola RCMP say four separate fires are believed to have been deliberately set in a subdivision on the Nuxalk Nation lands.

The fires were set between June 10 and Sept. 2, all around the Four Mile subdivision, just east of Bella Coola.

Two homes, an abandoned trailer and several gas cans were set ablaze.

There is no word of injuries.

A news release from Sgt. Rick Skolrood says specialist investigators are being brought in to assist in the investigation and he urges anyone with information to call the RCMP.
