The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a Sexual Assault investigation.

On Friday, November 20, 2020, a 16-year-old girl attended a one-on-one, residential tutoring service in the Morningside Road and Sheppard Avenue East area. It is alleged that: - the man providing the tutoring sexually assaulted the girl - the man tutors math, physics, calculus, science and data management.

On Thursday, November 26, 2020, members of Sex Crimes – Child & Youth Advocacy Centre arrested Rasiah 'Vimal' Vimalakanthan, 61, of Toronto.

He is charged with: 1. Sexual Assault He is scheduled to appear in court at Toronto East, 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at 2 p.m., in courtroom 407.
