  • Toronto man Jenisan Jeyakumar charged after posing as a police officer to obtain sexual services

Investigators with the York Regional Police Special Victims Unit-Human Trafficking section have charged a 25-year-old man following an incident at a massage parlor.

On April 8, 2022, York Regional Police responded to a dispute call at a massage parlor in the City of Markham. Officers learned that a male suspect had attended the parlor and demanded sexual services for free. When he was refused, he alleged that he was an undercover police officer. 

Jenisan Jeyakumar, of the City of Markham, has been charged with personating a Peace Officer and obtaining Sexual Services for Consideration

The suspect was arrested and it was confirmed that he is not employed in law enforcement in any capacity.

Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
