Three People Arrested, $25,000 Of Drugs Seized From A Vehicle In New Westminster

    Three people were arrested after the New Westminster Police Department seized drugs with an estimated street value of $25,000 from a vehicle in New Westminster early Tuesday morning.
     
    The seizure and arrests were the result of an early morning traffic stop in New Westminster. The drugs seized are believed to be 100 grams of heroin and 82 grams of cocaine.
     
    “Every arrest and drug seizure makes a difference,” said Media Relations Officer Acting Sergeant Jeff Scott. “We want to let criminals know they’re not wanted in New Westminster.”
     
    $7,000 cash was also seized from the vehicle. The individuals arrested were released on a promise to appear in court and the investigation is ongoing.
