Third Suspect Arrested And Charged In Death Of 42-Year-Old Man At Vernon's Polson Park

The Canadian Press, 11 Sep, 2015 12:33 PM
VERNON, B.C. — Mounties say a third person is facing a second-degree murder charge after a body was discovered in a park in Vernon, B.C.

Forty-two-year-old Jason Hardy was found dead near a lawn-bowling facility in Polson Park on Aug. 26.

Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy says 28-year-old Tal Kalum La Riviere was arrested Wednesday in Kamloops and was scheduled to appear in court Thursday on a second-degree murder charge.

Police have already said 18-year-old Brandon Wellington and a 14-year-old boy have also been charged with the same offence.

Noseworthy says the investigation remains active but police believe the last person involved has been arrested.
