Terrace, B.C., Police Arrest Man After Three Calls Within Minutes

The Canadian Press, 29 Dec, 2015 01:33 PM
TERRACE, B.C. — A 22-year-old man is under arrest in Terrace, B.C., after his actions prompted three emergency calls within minutes on Monday night.

Police say they responded to a report of an assault, only to find the suspect had left in a white Ford truck.

Minutes later, RCMP received a second call about a white Ford truck ramming the nearby Skeena Mall, damaging two sets of doors.

Officers didn't have to look for long because someone made a third call to police from a local restaurant, saying a man had come in asking that police be summoned after he had driven his truck into the mall.

Police later connected the same man to the three incidents and say he's also wanted on two outstanding warrants in Alberta.

The suspect was expected in court on Tuesday.
