TELUS Joins South Asian Canadian Fashion Designer Nina Kharey Founded Womenswear Brand NONIE For #EndBullying Campaign

Darpan News Desk, 03 Oct, 2019 08:00 PM

Telus has collaborated with Nina Kharey (Brand NONIE) - A south asian Canadian fashion designer to design an Endbullying t-shirt for Telus and launched it during the New York Fashion Week.

This event happened on Sept 10th.

TELUS has partnered with Canadian fashion designer Nina Kharey from NONIE to launch the “Love Gives Freedom” t-shirt, in support of #EndBullying.

    ● Fashion is a powerful form of expression, and TELUS believes it has the ability to connect with people in a meaningful way to inspire conversation and action.

    ● TELUS is pleased to partner with talented Canadian fashion designer Nina Kharey from NONIE who is helping raise awareness of online bullying and making a global impact through her designs.

    ● Nina lost her brother to a violent crime in 2005. Her passion for honouring his legacy, along with the quote, “Love does not claim possession, but gives freedom” by Rabindranath Tagore, inspired the design.

    ● The shirt will be revealed at this year’s New York Fashion Week as part of NONIE’s Spring 2020 collection.
