R-C-M-P in Langley are investigating a stabbing that sent a 26-year-old man to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Mounties say officers responded to a stabbing report in the 203-hundred block of Douglas Crescent just after 8:15 a-m this morning.
Officers found the victim inside a local business and believe the incident was targeted and isolated.
Mounties say there is no ongoing risk to public safety, and police are looking for witnesses to come forward
The owner of a pickup truck was injured along with his friend after they jumped into the back of the vehicle as it was being stolen and were launched out when it crashed. Winnipeg police say the truck owner saw his Ford F150 being stolen Saturday evening and, along with the friend, got in the box of the truck and called 911.
An incumbent BC United legislative member has reversed her decision not to seek re-election and has announced she'll run as an Independent in the riding of West Vancouver-Capilano in the upcoming British Columbia election.
