Police in Burnaby say they're investigating a shooting that injured a man.

Mounties say it happened last night when they were called to a report of a possible shooting in north Burnaby.

Officers found a man with a gunshot wound, but police say the injury isn't believed to be life threatening. 

Corporal Mike Kalanj says that while it's early in the investigation, the shooting is believed to have been targeted.

The minister said there's no timeline on when the water will start flowing, and "current modelling" shows that overtopping of the dam is more likely than a sudden break. They estimate it will take 12 to 24 hours for water and debris from the dam to reach Hope, B.C., about 500 kilometres south of the massive landslide.
