Targeted Shooting In Burnaby Neighbourhood Leaves A Man Dead

    BURNABY, B.C. — Mounties say a shooting in Burnaby, B.C., has claimed the life of an unidentified man.
     
    RCMP say they were called to a residential street in the Vancouver-area suburb after reports of gunfire.
     
    They say officers arrived and found a local resident suffering from gunshot wounds.
     
    He was transported to hospital and died there.
     
     
    Police do not believe the shooting was random.
     
    The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called in and will be working with the local RCMP detachment.
