SUV Hit 85-year-old Pedestrian In Maple Ridge: Witnesses Sought

    Maple Ridge B.C – Ridge Meadows RCMP is seeking further witnesses to a motor vehicle collision where an 85 year old man was struck.


    On February 6, 2020, at approximately 2:10 pm, Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to a call where a Black BMW X5 SUV had struck a pedestrian in the 22300 block of Lougheed Highway. The driver, a 36 year old woman, remained on scene and the man was transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services (EHS) with serious injuries but has since been released.


    Over the course of the investigation police have interviewed some witnesses from the scene however, it is believed there are more potential witnesses as some people left the scene prior to speaking with Police.
