Suspicious Fire In Surrey, B.c., Critically Injures Two Children

    SURREY, B.C. - Two children are in critical condition after being pulled from a burning basement suite in Surrey, B.C.

     

    RCMP say the children and an adult were hurt in the blaze that is now considered suspicious.

     

    The fire was reported Sunday in Surrey's Newton neighbourhood.

     

    A cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

     

    Police have not said if the children and adult are related.

     

    They say the case is still in the information gathering stages and no further details are available.
