SURREY, B.C. - Two children are in critical condition after being pulled from a burning basement suite in Surrey, B.C.
RCMP say the children and an adult were hurt in the blaze that is now considered suspicious.
The fire was reported Sunday in Surrey's Newton neighbourhood.
A cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
Police have not said if the children and adult are related.
They say the case is still in the information gathering stages and no further details are available.
Between January 1 and April 30th, 2019, 509 crimes against persons (including assaults, homicides and robberies) were reported to the Abbotsford Police Department.
Officers were called to a bus stop in Tsawwassen this week after reports from the public of seeing two men with what appeared to be a gun. Police determined which bus the men boarded, and then intercepted the men leaving the bus in Ladner.
