Surrey RCMP say a man is being treated in hospital after being found in the Port Kells neighbourhood, just after midnight, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators believe the attack was targeted, but they haven't named the victim or said if any suspects have been identified.
Meanwhile, Vancouver police are investigating the suspicious death of a 16-year-old boy.
Officers were called to an East Vancouver home at about 3 p.m. Sunday to find the seriously injured youth, who was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.
