CHILLIWACK, B.C. — Mounties in Chilliwack, B.C., have arrested a suspect accused of stabbing four men in Sexsmith, Alta.

Twenty-eight-year-old Jordan Wendland is charged with one count of second-degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault.

Police say a Canada-wide warrant was issued for Wendland after the stabbings on Sunday when one of the victims died.

Mounties are crediting tips from the public in locating Wendland at a home in the Fraser Valley community on Wednesday.

He remains in custody and is expected to make his first court appearance in Grand Prairie at a later date.
