Suspect Arrested After Woman's Body Found Inside Home On Vancouver's West Side

    VANCOUVER — A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman in Vancouver.
     
    Const. Brian Montague says her body was found Saturday night in a home on the city's west side.
     
    He says the suspect had barricaded himself inside the residence, leading to an eight-hour standoff.
     
    The man was taken into custody shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday.
     
    Montague says police will be recommending charges of murder.
     
    No names have been released.
