  • Surrey Woman Seriously Hurt In Newton Hit-And-Run
On November 22nd at approximately 7:00 am the Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian struck at the intersection of 64 Avenue & 134 Street. 
 
 
Early indications are the pedestrian was in the crosswalk when struck by the vehicle which was turning left from 134 Street onto 64 Avenue travelling eastbound.
 
 
The 40-year-old female pedestrian sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
 
 
The vehicle involved in the collision did not remain on scene and is described as a white pick-up truck with an unknown license plate. The driver and passenger of the truck are described as of South Asian descent but their genders are unknown. 
 
 
Investigators are asking anyone who was a witness to this incident, or anyone who may have dashcam, or any other video which could assist in this investigation to please contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
