  • Surrey Shooting That Sent Two To Hospital Appears Targeted: RCMP
SURREY, B.C. — Police say two men in their 20s were taken to hospital after an overnight shooting in Surrey, B.C.
 
Residents reported hearing gunshots in their neighbourhood at about 1 a.m. Friday, and RCMP arrived to find the two wounded men.
 
Both victims are expected to survive the shooting.
 
Officers say one of the men is known to police and the attack appears to have been targeted.
 
Police are looking for three to four suspects who are all described as men in their early 20s.
 
Investigators say the shooting has not been linked to over a dozen others involving a gang turf war over drugs.
