Police in Surrey are investigating a shooting early this morning that has sent one man to hospital.

Surrey Mounties say they received a report of shots fired at a vehicle just before 2 a-m at the intersection of 64th Avenue and 124th Street.

Police say they found a male driver inside his vehicle at the scene suffering from a non-life-threatening injury.

The man has been taken to hospital, and police say 124th Street from 64th Avenue to Boundary Drive will remain closed while police complete their on-scene investigation.
