Surrey R-C-M-P says they will announce the rollout of body-worn cameras today.
The rollout will be the largest deployment in the province with more than three-thousand cameras expected.
The Mounties are deploying more than 10-thousand cameras across the country in the next 12 to 18 months.
Officers will be expected to turn on their cameras when they answer calls or interact with the public.

Doctors on Vancouver Island say they're setting up unsanctioned overdose prevention sites on the grounds of Nanaimo General and Royal Jubilee hospitals this week because the B.C. government hasn't lived up to its promise to set aside space for the sites.
