Surrey R-C-M-P says they will announce the rollout of body-worn cameras today.
The rollout will be the largest deployment in the province with more than three-thousand cameras expected.
The Mounties are deploying more than 10-thousand cameras across the country in the next 12 to 18 months.
Officers will be expected to turn on their cameras when they answer calls or interact with the public.
Canada's inflation rate climbed back up to two per cent in October, shifting expectations slightly in favour of a quarter-percentage point interest rate cut next month.
