Surrey RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an alleged sexual assault after receiving video surveillance of the possible suspect.
On May 2nd, 2016 at approximately 8:30pm, Surrey RCMP was advised of a sexual assault at a gas station in the 7100 block of King George Boulevard. The male suspect, accompanied by another male, entered the gas station and made inappropriate comments towards the female victim.
The male suspect then touched the victim in a sexual manner, when she was near the front counter, before being asked to leave by the store clerk.
Surrey RCMP’s General Duty officers continue to investigate, however, the male currently remains unidentified. Video surveillance is now available and officers are hoping the public may be able to assist in identifying the suspect and his associate.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his mid-30s, approximately 5’8", clean-shaven, with short dark hair, wearing a white t-shirt, white shorts, white shoes and socks, and dark sunglasses on his head. The male associate is described as a Caucasian male, in his late 20s to early 30s, wearing a grey tank top, black shorts, black hat, white shoes, and a goatee (see attached photo).
