UPDATE: The RCMP is pleased to confirm that the 14 year-old youth that was reported missing on August 23, 2021, has been located, and she is safe and sound. Thanks to the media and public for your assistance.  The original release has been deleted from our social account.

EARLIER STORY: 

Surrey RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance to locate a 14-year-old youth.

Emily Gallop-Giles was last seen on August 20, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. in the 6100-block of Morgan Drive. Emily has been out of contact with her caregivers in the past however, given the duration of time that has elapsed without contact, police and her guardians are concerned for her wellbeing.

Emily Gallop-Giles is described as a Caucasian female, 5’8” tall, 185lbs, with shoulder-length, purple/red coloured hair. She was last seen wearing a yellow Sponge Bob Square Pants hoodie, and grey pants with a cartoon character print.
