The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit is investigating an overnight shooting that took place around 2am with ties to the Lower Mainland Gang Conflict. The incident took place in the Newton area of 6200-block of 132A Street.
According to police there have been no injuries in this targeted incident. The public is not at risk.
The investigation is in its early stages and suspects are still being identified. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604 599 0502.
They are now among the 441,000 people who have received letters from the Canada Revenue Agency questioning their eligibility for the CERB, and warning they may owe back some of the payments.
Shortly after 8 a.m. on December 8, 2020, Surrey RCMP responded to the theft of a vehicle from a residence in the 17200-block of 57 Avenue. The stolen vehicle had the owner’s credit card inside which was fraudulently used soon after it was stolen, at a business near 168 Street and 60 Avenue.
