Surrey RCMP Investigate Shots Fired In Whalley Area

    The Surrey RCMP is investigating a shooting in the Whalley area of Surrey.


    At approximately 4:00 pm on Friday July 19th, 2019, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 12700 block of King George Boulevard. Evidence was located confirming that shots had been fired.


    Initial reports indicated that a white coloured car was observed driving away from the area at a high rate of speed.


    Officers are conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. Initial indications are that this was a targeted incident.
