Surrey Police Seek Help To Identify Suspect In Possession Of Stolen Credit Card

, 02 Sep, 2016 02:12 PM
Surrey RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male allegedly in possession of a stolen credit card.

On May 25, 2016, Surrey RCMP was called after a vehicle had been broken into near 17th Avenue and 148th Street in South Surrey. Stolen from inside the vehicle were a wallet and its contents including credit cards.

Surrey RCMP has now obtained surveillance photos depicting a male using one of the stolen credit cards at an ATM machine.

This is a good reminder to keep your valuables on you when your vehicle is unattended, says Corporal Scotty Schumann. Don’t make it easy for thieves to access your personal belongings and take the steps necessary to reduce the chances of being further victimized.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.solvecrime.ca.
